     Colonel Thomas Burrowes was born circa 1742.2 He was the son of Thomas Burrowes and Jane Nesbitt.1 He married, firstly, Mary Dawkes on 2 April 1777.2 He married, secondly, Sarah Greenland, daughter of Captain unknown Greenland, in 1787.2 He married, thirdly, Hon. Frances Beresford, daughter of William Beresford, 1st Baron Decies and Elizabeth FitzGibbon, in 1797.3 He died before 1864.3
     Colonel Thomas Burrowes gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the the Honourable East India Company Service.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Longford.2 He lived at 3 Hill Street, Berkeley Square, London, England.2 He lived at Benarth, Conway, Caernarvonshire, Wales.2 He lived at Dangan Castle, County Meath, Ireland.3
