     Reverend George Beresford was born on 21 May 1776. He was the son of William Beresford, 1st Baron Decies and Elizabeth FitzGibbon. He married Susan Gorges, daughter of Hamilton Gorges, on 21 May 1798. He died on 10 August 1842 at age 66.
