     Lt. Hon. Gustavus Lascelles Hamilton-Russell was born on 18 October 1907.1 He was the son of Gustavus William Hamilton-Russell, 9th Viscount Boyne and Lady Margaret Selina Lascelles.1 He married Joan Verena Verney, daughter of Sir Harry Lloyd-Verney and Lady Joan Elizabeth Mary Cuffe, on 20 January 1931.2 He died in June 1940 at age 32 at France, killed in action.2
     Lt. Hon. Gustavus Lascelles Hamilton-Russell was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.2 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Grenadier Guards.3 He fought in the Second World War.2

Hon. Gustavus Lascelles Hamilton-Russell and Joan Verena Verney, on 11 April 1956.1
