     Captain Sir John Forbes-Drummond, 1st Bt. was born in 1746.1 He was the son of Robert Forbes and Anne Abernethy.1 He married Mary Ogilvie, daughter of John Ogilvie, on 1 November 1785.1 He died on 23 May 1829.1
     Captain Sir John Forbes-Drummond, 1st Bt. was baptised with the name of John Forbes.1 On 1786 his name was legally changed to John Forbes-Drummond.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was created 1st Baronet Forbes-Drummond, of Hawthornden, Midlothian [U.K.] on 27 February 1828, with a special remainder to his son-in-law, Francis Walker.1

     Margaret Anne Forbes-Drummond was the daughter of Captain Sir John Forbes-Drummond, 1st Bt. and Mary Ogilvie.1 She married Sir Francis Walker-Drummond, 2nd Bt., son of James Walker of Dalry and Jane Hay-Newton, on 4 January 1810.1 She died on 14 May 1876.2
     From 4 January 1810, her married name became Walker-Drummond.1

     Sir Francis Walker-Drummond, 2nd Bt. was born on 9 June 1781.1 He was the son of James Walker of Dalry and Jane Hay-Newton.1,2 He married Margaret Anne Forbes-Drummond, daughter of Captain Sir John Forbes-Drummond, 1st Bt. and Mary Ogilvie, on 4 January 1810.1 He died on 29 February 1844 at age 62.2
     On 4 January 1810 his name was legally changed to Francis Walker-Drummond.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Forbes-Drummond, of Hawthornden, Midlothian [U.K., 1828] on 23 May 1829.2
