     William Hay-Newton was born in 1747. He was the son of Richard Hay and Anne Stuart. He married Alicia Foster, daughter of Anthony Foster, in 1791. He died on 12 February 1829.

     Alicia Foster was the daughter of Anthony Foster. She married William Hay-Newton, son of Richard Hay and Anne Stuart, in 1791. She died in 1841.
     Her married name became Hay-Newton.

     Jean Hay was the daughter of Richard Hay and Anne Stuart. She married James Walker on 13 July 1780.
     Her married name became Walker.

     James Walker married Jean Hay, daughter of Richard Hay and Anne Stuart, on 13 July 1780. He died in 1817.
     James Walker was also known as Alexander. He lived at Dalry, Ayrshire, Scotland.

     William Waring Hay-Newton was born on 20 September 1795. He was the son of William Hay-Newton and Alicia Foster. He married Jane Frances Gregson, daughter of Thomas Gregson and Elizabeth Foster, on 19 June 1821. He married Jane Rattray, daughter of James Clerk Rattray, on 15 February 1844. He died on 15 May 1860 at age 64.
     William Waring Hay-Newton lived at Newton Hall.

     Jane Frances Gregson was the daughter of Thomas Gregson and Elizabeth Foster. She married William Waring Hay-Newton, son of William Hay-Newton and Alicia Foster, on 19 June 1821. She died on 5 July 1833.
     Her married name became Hay-Newton.
