     William Hay-Newton was born in 1747. He was the son of Richard Hay-Newton and Anne Stuart. He married Alicia Foster, daughter of Anthony Foster, in 1791. He died on 12 February 1829.

     Jane Hay-Newton was the daughter of Richard Hay-Newton and Anne Stuart.1 She married James Walker of Dalry, son of Francis Walker, on 13 July 1780.2
     Jane Hay-Newton was also known as Jean. Her married name became Walker.

     James Walker of Dalry was born in 1743.2 He was the son of Francis Walker.2 He married Jane Hay-Newton, daughter of Richard Hay-Newton and Anne Stuart, on 13 July 1780.3 He died on 9 May 1817.2
     James Walker of Dalry was a Principal Clerk of Session [Scotland].2 He lived at East Fortoun, East Lothian, Scotland.2 He lived at Dalry, Midlothian, Scotland.2

     William Waring Hay-Newton was born on 20 September 1795. He was the son of William Hay-Newton and Alicia Foster. He married Jane Frances Gregson, daughter of Thomas Gregson and Elizabeth Foster, on 19 June 1821. He married Jane Rattray, daughter of James Clerk Rattray, on 15 February 1844. He died on 15 May 1860 at age 64.
     William Waring Hay-Newton lived at Newton Hall.
