     Catharine Elizabeth Agnes Fane was born on 30 October 1862.1 She was the daughter of Major John Augustus Fane and Eleanor Thornhill.1 She married Albert Butter, son of Archibald Butter, on 27 August 1887.1 She died on 16 September 1948 at age 85.1
     From 27 August 1887, her married name became Butter.
