     Elizabeth Washington was born circa 1655.1 She was the daughter of Lawrence Washington.1 She married Sir Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers, son of Sir Robert Shirley, 4th Bt. and Catherine Okeover, on 28 December 1671.2 She died on 2 October 1693.1
     From 28 December 1671, her married name became Shirley.2
