     Henry Charles Cole Bowen was born on 21 January 1862.3 He was the son of Robert St. John Cole Bowen and Elizabeth Jane Clarke.2 He married, firstly, Florence Isabella Pomeroy Colley, daughter of Henry FitzGeorge Colley, on 10 April 1890.3 He married, secondly, Mary Katherine Gwynn, daughter of Rev. Dr. John Gwynn, on 4 September 1918.3 He died on 29 May 1930 at age 68.3
     Henry Charles Cole Bowen was educated at St. Columba's College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.3 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).3 He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.3 He lived at Bowen's Court, County Cork, Ireland.3

     Major Charles Otway Cole Bowen was born on 30 August 1867.1 He was the son of Robert St. John Cole Bowen and Elizabeth Jane Clarke.2 He died on 18 March 1910 at age 42, unmarried.1
     Major Charles Otway Cole Bowen fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Engineers.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1
