     Charles Carden Mansergh was born on 2 October 1802.2 He was the son of John Southcote Mansergh.1 He married Elizabeth Bland, daughter of Post Captain Loftus Otway Bland and Sarah Foote, in January 1830.1 He died on 14 December 1873 at age 71.1
     Charles Carden Mansergh gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 3rd Dragoon Guards.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Clifford, County Cork, Ireland.1
