Donel O'Donovan, The O'Donovan1

     Donel O'Donovan, The O'Donovan was the son of Cathal O'Donovan.2 He died in 1584.1
      He when a child having been concealed from his f's enemies in cows' skins) O'DONOVAN.3 Donel O'Donovan, The O'Donovan also went by the nick-name of 'Done-nag-Croiceann' (or in English, Donel of the Hides).1 He held the position of Chief of Clan Cathal in 1560.1 In 1560 he was inaugurated as Chieftain by McCarthy Reagh, Chieftain of Carbery.1
