     Colonel Andrew Trail is the son of Alexander Trail and unknown Kynimord.2 He married Helen Myrton, daughter of Thomas Myrton.1
     He served the confederate State of Flanders as well as Henry IV.1 He was Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to Prince Henry (eldest son of James I).1

     Lt.-Col. James Trail was born in 1600.1 He was the son of James Trail and Matilda Melville.2 He married Mary Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton and Sarah Brabazon, on 21 March 1647.1 He died on 18 May 1663.1
     Lt.-Col. James Trail gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Parliament Army.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Down in 1655.1 He lived at Tullychin, County Down, Ireland.1
