     Hugh Somerville, 8th Lord Somerville was the son of Hugh Somerville, 6th Lord Somerville and Eleanor Seton.2 He married Margaret Hamilton, daughter of Gavin Hamilton, 7th of Raploch and Jean Dishington.1 He died in April 1640.1
     He succeeded to the title of 8th Lord Somerville [S., 1444] in 1618.2
