     Mary Stuart Maitland was the daughter of David Maitland and Eleanor Julian Hog. She married Vice-Admiral Philip Horatio Townsend Somerville on 1 May 1849. She died on 1 June 1895.
     Her married name became Somerville.

     Esther Coventry was born circa 1800. She was the daughter of Andrew Coventry. She married David Maitland, son of Charles Maitland and Mary Johnston, on 2 December 1834. She died on 19 October 1892.
     Her married name became Maitland.

     Maj.-Gen. David Maitland-Makgill-Crichton was born on 20 August 1841. He was the son of David Maitland and Esther Coventry. He married Lady Margaret Pleydell-Bouverie, daughter of Jacob Bouverie, 4th Earl of Radnor, on 29 October 1873. He died on 2 January 1907 at age 65.

     Her married name became Maitland-Makgill-Crichton.

     Captain Augustus Chetham Strode gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.
