     Ludwig I Landgraf von Hessen was born on 6 February 1402 at Spangenberg, Germany.1 He was the son of Hermann II Landgraf von Hessen and Margaret von Hohenzollern.2 He married Anne von Sachsen, daughter of Friedrich I Kurfürst von Sachsen and Catherine von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, on 8 September 1436.1 He died on 17 January 1458 at age 55 at Spangenberg, Germany.1
      Ludwig I Landgraf von Hessen also went by the nick-name of Ludwig 'the Peaceful'.1 He succeeded to the title of Landgraf von Hessen in 1413.2 In 1450 he acquired the Counties of Ziegenhain and Nidda.1

     Friedrich I Kurfürst von Sachsen was born on 11 April 1370. He was the son of Friedrich III Markgraf von Meißen and Catherine von Henneberg-Schleusingen. He married Catherine von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, daughter of Heinrich I Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Sophie von Pommern, on 7 February 1402. He died on 4 January 1428 at age 57 at Altenburg, Germany.
      Friedrich I Kurfürst von Sachsen also went by the nick-name of Friedrich 'the Warlike'.1 He was a member of the House of Wettin.1 He gained the title of Markgraf Friedrich IV von Meißen. He gained the title of Landgraf von Thuringe. He was created Kufürst von Sachsen in 1423.1

     Philip 'der Ältere' Graf von Katzenelnbogen was born circa 1402. He married, firstly, Anne von Wurttemberg, daughter of Eberhard IV Graf von Württemberg and Henriette von Mömpelgard, on 22 February 1422. He married, secondly, Anne von Nassau-Dillenburg, daughter of Jan IV Graf von Nassau-Dillenburg Graaf van Vianden, Heer van Breda en De-Leck and Marie von Sponheim Gravin van Loon, Vrouwe van Herstal, Stein en Millen, circa 1473. He died on 27 June 1479.

     Eberhard V (I) Herzog von Württemberg was the son of Ludwig I Graf von Württemberg.1 He married Barbara Gonzaga, daughter of Ludovico II Gonzaga, Marchese di Mantova and Barbara de Brandenburg, in 1474.2 He died in 1496.
      Eberhard V (I) Herzog von Württemberg also went by the nick-name of Eberhard 'the Bearded'.1 He succeeded to the title of Graf von Württemberg in 1450.1 He was created Herzog von Württemberg in 1495.1

He married Sophie von Sachsen-Lauenburg, daughter of Bernhard II Herzog von Sachsen-Lauenburg and Adelheid von Pommern, circa 1444. He died on 19 August 1475 at Niederkassel, Germany.1
     He gained the title of Herzog von Berg. He gained the title of Herzog von Jülich.
