     Arthur Percy Somers Cocks, 7th Lord Sommers, Baron of Evesham was born on 23 November 1864.¹ He was the son of Arthur Herbert Cocks and Anna Marion Jessie Eckford.² He married Benita Sabin, daughter of Major Luther Sabin, in 1896.¹ He died on 8 February 1953 at age 88.¹
     Arthur Percy Somers Cocks, 7th Lord Sommers, Baron of Evesham was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1917, with the Canadian Forces.¹ He succeeded to the title of 7th Lord Sommers, Baron of Evesham, co.
