     Thomas Alexander Stannus was born before 1824.1 He was the son of Thomas Stannus and Catherine Sophia Hamilton.1 He died in August 1851, accidentally drowned.1
     Thomas Alexander Stannus gained the rank of officer in the service of the 14th Madras Infantry.1

     Robert Trevor Stannus was born in 1824.2 He was the son of Thomas Stannus and Catherine Sophia Hamilton.2 He married Caroline Sophia Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton and Sophia Stannus, on 3 March 1853.2 He died on 31 March 1888, without issue.2
