     Lady Maria Juliana Howe was born on 17 April 1765. She was the daughter of Admiral Richard Howe, 1st and last Earl Howe and Mary Hartopp.1 She was baptised on 14 May 1765 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, England. She married Edward Furse on 14 August 1800 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.2
     From 14 August 1800, her married name became Furse.2

     Howe Peter Browne, 2nd Marquess of Sligo was born on 18 May 1788. He was the son of John Denis Browne, 1st Marquess of Sligo and Lady Louisa Catherine Howe. He married Lady Hester Catherine de Burgh, daughter of General John Thomas de Burgh, 13th Earl of Clanricarde and Elizabeth Burke, on 4 March 1816. He died on 26 January 1845 at age 56.
     Howe Peter Browne, 2nd Marquess of Sligo gained the title of 2nd Marquess of Sligo in 1809.

     Lady Hester Catherine de Burgh was born circa 1800. She was the daughter of General John Thomas de Burgh, 13th Earl of Clanricarde and Elizabeth Burke.1 She married Howe Peter Browne, 2nd Marquess of Sligo, son of John Denis Browne, 1st Marquess of Sligo and Lady Louisa Catherine Howe, on 4 March 1816. She died on 17 February 1878.2
     Her married name became Browne.

     General John Thomas de Burgh, 13th Earl of Clanricarde was born on 22 September 1744.1 He was the son of John Smith de Burgh, 11th Earl of Clanricarde and Hester Amelia Vincent.1 He married Elizabeth Burke, daughter of Sir Thomas Burke, 1st Bt. and Christian Browne, on 17 March 1799.2 He died on 27 July 1808 at age 63 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.3 His will was probated in November 1808.3
     General John Thomas de Burgh, 13th Earl of Clanricarde was educated between 1754 and 1758 at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.4 He was commissioned on 30 July 1762 with the rank of Ensign, in the service of the 1st Foot Guards.4 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 68th Foot.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1793.1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Earl of Clanricarde [I., 1543] on 8 December 1797.1 He succeeded to the title of 13th Baron of Dunkellin [I., 1543] on 8 December 1797.1 He succeeded to the title of 11th Viscount Bourke of Clanmories, co. Mayo [I., 1629] on 8 December 1797.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1798.1 He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of County Galway between 1798 and 1808.1 He was created 1st Earl of Clanricarde, co. Galway [Ireland] on 29 December 1800, with special remainder to his daughters.3 He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1801 and 1808.3 He held the office of Governor of Hull between 1801 and 1808.3 He gained the rank of General in 1803.1

     Elizabeth Burke was born circa 1764.2 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Burke, 1st Bt. and Christian Browne.1 She married General John Thomas de Burgh, 13th Earl of Clanricarde, son of John Smith de Burgh, 11th Earl of Clanricarde and Hester Amelia Vincent, on 17 March 1799.1 She died on 26 March 1854 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2
     As a result of her marriage, Elizabeth Burke was styled as Countess of Clanricarde on 17 March 1799. From 17 March 1799, her married name became de Burgh.

     Sir Thomas Burke, 1st Bt. was the son of John Burke and Mary Carroll.2 He married Christian Browne, daughter of James Browne, in April 1774.2 He died on 22 May 1813.2
     Sir Thomas Burke, 1st Bt. held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).2 He was created 1st Baronet Burke, of Marble Hill, co. Galway [Ireland] on 5 December 1797.2

     George John Browne, 3rd Marquess of Sligo was born on 31 January 1820. He was the son of Howe Peter Browne, 2nd Marquess of Sligo and Lady Hester Catherine de Burgh. He married, firstly, Hon. Ellen Sydney Smythe, daughter of Percy Clinton Sydney Smythe, 6th Viscount Strangford and Ellen Burke, on 3 May 1847. He married, secondly, Julia Catherine Anne Nugent, daughter of Anthony Francis Nugent, 9th Earl of Westmeath and Anne Catherine Daly, on 20 July 1858. He married, thirdly, Isabelle Raymonde de Peyronnet, daughter of unknown de Peyronnet, Vicomte de Peyronnet, on 6 June 1878. He died on 30 December 1896 at age 76.
     George John Browne, 3rd Marquess of Sligo gained the title of 3rd Marquess of Sligo.

     Hon. Ellen Sydney Smythe was the daughter of Percy Clinton Sydney Smythe, 6th Viscount Strangford and Ellen Burke. She married George John Browne, 3rd Marquess of Sligo, son of Howe Peter Browne, 2nd Marquess of Sligo and Lady Hester Catherine de Burgh, on 3 May 1847. She died on 28 November 1852.
     Her married name became Browne.

     Percy Clinton Sydney Smythe, 6th Viscount Strangford was born on 31 August 1780. He was the son of Lionel Smythe, 5th Viscount Strangford and Mary Eliza Philipse. He married Ellen Burke, daughter of Sir Thomas Burke, 1st Bt. and Christian Browne, on 17 July 1817.1 He died on 29 May 1855 at age 74.1
     Percy Clinton Sydney Smythe, 6th Viscount Strangford gained the title of 6th Viscount Strangford.
