     Laurence Oliphant was the son of Patrick Oliphant, 1st/6th Lord Oliphant and Mary Crichton.2 He married Magdalene Crichton, daughter of James Crichton, 1st Viscount Frendraught and Marion Irvine.1 He died in 1688, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Scots Guards.1

     William Oliphant, 4th/9th Lord Oliphant was the son of Patrick Oliphant, 1st/6th Lord Oliphant and Mary Crichton.2 He married Marie Elinga after 1681 at Flanders, Belgium.1 He died on 27 December 1728 at Williamston, Gask, Perthshire, Scotland, without surviving male issue.1
      He was an active Jacobite.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Lord Oliphant [S., 1464] on 14 January 1720/21.3 He succeeded to the title of 4th Lord Oliphant [S., 1633] on 14 January 1720/21.1

     Francis Oliphant, 5th/10th Lord Oliphant was the son of Francis Oliphant and Mary Redall.2 He married Mary Linley on 18 January 1746/47 at London, England.1 He died on 18 April 1748 at Islington, London, England, without issue.1
     He succeeded to the title of 5th Lord Oliphant [S., 1633] on 27 December 1728.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Lord Oliphant [S., 1464] on 27 December 1728.3 On his death, his title of 1633 became extinct.1
