     William Oliphant, 4th of Gask was the son of Laurence Oliphant and Anne Preston.2 He died in 1704, unmarried.1

     Caroline Oliphant was the daughter of Laurence Oliphant, 7th of Gask and Margaret Robertson.1 She married William Murray Nairne, 5th Lord Nairne.2 She died on 27 October 1845.1
     Her married name became Nairne.2
