     Margaret Oliphant was born on 21 August 1799 at Gask, Perthshire, Scotland.1,2 She was the daughter of Laurence Oliphant, 8th of Gask and Christian Robertson of Ardblair.1 She married Thomas Kington, son of Thomas Kington and Charlotte Miles, on 26 May 1830 at Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire, England.1,2 She died on 14 September 1839 at age 40 at Teignmouth, Devon, England.1,2
      From 26 May 1830, her married name became Kington.1

     Laurence Oliphant, 8th of Gask was born on 29 April 1768 at Findo-Gask, Perthshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of Laurence Oliphant, 7th of Gask and Margaret Robertson.3 He married Christian Robertson of Ardblair, daughter of Joseph Robertson of Ardblair, in 1795.4 He died in 1819.1

     Christian Robertson of Ardblair is the daughter of Joseph Robertson of Ardblair.1 She married Laurence Oliphant, 8th of Gask, son of Laurence Oliphant, 7th of Gask and Margaret Robertson, in 1795.2
