     Captain Ashley William Neville Ponsonby was born on 1 March 1882.1 He was the son of Hon. Edwin Charles William Ponsonby and Emily Dora Coope.2 He died on 8 September 1915 at age 33, killed in action.1
     He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Natal in 1907.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was Military Secretary to the Governor-General of South Africa in 1914.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.1

     Wilhelmine Caroline Marie Friederike zu Solms-Braunfels was born on 20 September 1793.1 She was the daughter of Wilhelm Fürst zu Solms-Braunfels and Auguste Franziska gräfin zu Salm-Grumbach.1 She married Alexius Friedrich Fürst zu Bentheim und Steinfurt, son of Ludwig Wilhelm Geldricus Ernst Fürst zu Bentheim und Steinfurt and Juliana Wilhelmine zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 17 October 1811.1 She died on 12 November 1865 at age 72.1
