     Lady Hilda Joanna Gwendoline Finch was born on 25 July 1872.1 She was the daughter of Heneage Finch, 7th Earl of Aylesford and Edith Peers-Williams.1 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Malcolm Donald Murray, son of Brig.-Gen. Alexander Henry Murray and Martha Frances Vincent Davenport, on 12 April 1898.2 She died on 13 August 1931 at age 59.1
     From 12 April 1898, her married name became Murray.2
