     Sarah Montefiore was born in 1789.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Elias Montefiore and Rachel de Mattos Mocatta.1 She married, firstly, Solomon Sebag on 6 January 1813.1 She married, secondly, Moses Asher Goldsmid, son of Asher Goldsmid, on 7 November 1839.1
     From 6 January 1813, her married name became Sebag.1 From 7 November 1839, her married name became Goldsmid.1
