     Alfred Edward Denny was born in 1844.1 He was the son of William Denny and Marianne Trueman.2 He married Mary Harriet Scott Stokes, daughter of Henry Grout Stokes, on 26 February 1870.1 He died on 22 February 1903.1
     Alfred Edward Denny gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1
