     Lt.-Gen. Robert Richardson-Robertson was born on 14 November 1809.1 He was the son of James Richardson and Elizabeth Stewart.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Martha Rollo, daughter of John Rollo, 8th Lord Rollo of Duncrub, on 26 September 1850.1 He married, secondly, Lady Julia Louisa Leslie-Melville, daughter of John Thornton Leslie-Melville, 11th Earl of Leven and Harriet Thornton, on 29 March 1869.1 He died on 1 November 1883 at age 73.1
     Lt.-Gen. Robert Richardson-Robertson was baptised with the name of Thomas Richardson.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 3rd Dragoon Guards.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He lived at Ballathie, Scotland.1 He lived at Kinnaird, Scotland.1 He lived at Tulliebelton, Perthshire, Scotland.1

Emma Selina Portman.1 He married, firstly, Susanna Elizabeth Johnanna Sleigh, daughter of Francis Sleigh, on 6 March 1914.1 He and Susanna Elizabeth Johnanna Sleigh were divorced in 1928.1 He married, secondly, Eleanor Mary Barrell Abrahall, daughter of Arthur John Abrahall, in 1929.1 He died on 10 December 1938 at age 46.1
