     Alexander Muir McGrigor was the son of Alexander McGrigor of Cairnoch and Margaret Anne Kay Muir.2,1 He married Eileen Margaret Denny, daughter of Sir Archibald Denny, 1st Bt. and Margaret Tulloch, on 18 July 1917.1 He died on 28 November 1963.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Gloucestershire Yeomanry.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1

     Marjorie Lysaght is the daughter of William Royse Lysaght.2 She married Sir Maurice Edward Denny, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Archibald Denny, 1st Bt. and Margaret Tulloch, on 23 November 1916.1

     Sir Alistair Maurice Archibald Denny, 3rd Bt. was born on 11 September 1922.1 He was the son of Sir Maurice Edward Denny, 2nd Bt. and Marjorie Lysaght.2 He married Elizabeth Hunt Lloyd, daughter of Major Sir Ernest Guy Richard Lloyd, 1st Bt. and Helen Kynaston Greg, on 18 April 1949.1 He died on 29 August 1995 at age 72.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1 He was with the Fleet Air Arm between 1944 and 1946.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Denny [U.K., 1913] on 2 February 1955.1

Major Sir Ernest Guy Richard Lloyd, 1st Bt.1

     Major Sir Ernest Guy Richard Lloyd, 1st Bt. was born on 7 August 1890.2 He was the son of Major Ernest Thomas Lloyd and Ethel Mary Green-Price.2 He married Helen Kynaston Greg, daughter of Colonel Ernest William Greg, on 5 March 1918.2 He died in 1987.2
     Major Sir Ernest Guy Richard Lloyd, 1st Bt. usually went by his middle name of Guy.1 He was educated at Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1913 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Major in the King's Shropshire Light Infantry.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.2 He graduated from Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1919 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was director of Jas Chadwick and Brothers in 1921 at Bolton, Lancashire, England.2 He was 2ic of the 5th Loyal Regiment (Territorial Army) in 1930.2 He was administrator of J & P Coats, Glasgow and Paisley in 1931.2 He was 2ic of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment between 1939 and 1940.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Unionist) for East Renfrewshire between 1940 and 1959.2 He was appointed Knight in 1953.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Dunbartonshire in 1953.2 He was created 1st Baronet Lloyd, of Rhu, co. Dunbarton [U.K.] on 23 July 1960.2

     Elizabeth Hunt Lloyd was born on 8 January 1925.2 She was the daughter of Major Sir Ernest Guy Richard Lloyd, 1st Bt. and Helen Kynaston Greg.2 She married Sir Alistair Maurice Archibald Denny, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Maurice Edward Denny, 2nd Bt. and Marjorie Lysaght, on 18 April 1949.1 She died on 16 October 2015 at age 90.3
     From 18 April 1949, her married name became Denny.2
