     Brigadier Patrick Sholto Douglas was born on 13 April 1912. He is the son of Hon. Archibald Roderick Sholto Douglas and Winona Constance De Maraisville Peake. He married, firstly, Maude Carol Hermione Orr, daughter of George Simpson Orr, on 22 February 1940. He married, secondly, Alexa Granger Cameron, daughter of Admiral John Ewen Cameron and Marion Gertrude Granger, on 21 January 1963.1
     Brigadier Patrick Sholto Douglas was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1
