     John Stratford Dugdale was born on 30 July 1835.4 He is the son of William Stratford Dugdale and Harriet Ella Portman.2,3 He married Alice Carleton, daughter of General Henry Alexander Carleton and Elizabeth Boyle, on 21 October 1890.1 He died on 27 October 1920 at age 85.4
