     Anna Murray was the daughter of William Murray.1 A contract for the marriage of Anna Murray and Hon. Sir William Hay was signed on 18 November 1618. She died circa 1658. She was buried in October 1658.
     Her married name became Hay.

     General Lord James Hay was born on 23 March 1788. He was the son of George Hay, 7th Marquess of Tweeddale and Lady Hannah Charlotte Maitland. He married Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of James Forbes, on 18 August 1813. He died on 18 August 1862 at age 74.
