     Denise Eileen Coddington was born on 21 June 1915.1 She was the daughter of Arthur Francis Coddington and Dorothie Rhoda Osborne.2 She married Lt.-Col. Kenneth Ames, son of George Henry Ames, on 21 October 1944.1 She died on 3 January 1968 at age 52.1
     She was with the Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.1 From 21 October 1944, her married name became Ames.

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Electrical and Mechincal Engineers.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1 He lived in 1976 at Seafield, Tower Hill, Williton, Somerset, EnglandG.1

     She was with Women's Auxiliary Air Force during the Second World War.1 From 12 August 1943, her married name became Lewis-Crosby.
