     Ethel Elais Wilkinson was the daughter of Alfred Wilkinson.2 She married William Makepeace Thackeray Synge, son of William Webb Follett Synge and Henrietta Mary Wrainwright, on 12 May 1892.1 She died on 20 February 1895.1
     From 12 May 1892, her married name became Synge. He had another son, who died young.1

     William Alfred Thackeray Synge was born on 16 February 1893.1 He was the son of William Makepeace Thackeray Synge and Ethel Elais Wilkinson.2 He married Hilda Marjorie Pike, daughter of Ebenezer Pike, on 5 February 1920.1 He died on 27 January 1968 at age 74.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Reserve of Officers, King's Liverpool Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the RAFO.1

     Brian Thackeray Synge was born on 28 November 1920.1 He was the son of William Alfred Thackeray Synge and Hilda Marjorie Pike.2 He married, firstly, Alison Patricia Hawkins, daughter of Brigadier Victor Francis Staples Hawkins and Violet Beryl Ware, on 14 April 1945.1 He and Alison Patricia Hawkins were divorced in 1970.1 He married, secondly, Pamela Columbina Winnick in November 1970 at Kensington, London, EnglandG.1,3 He died on 20 July 2013 at age 92.4
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the Irish Guards.1 He lived in 2003 at 4 Pembroke Close,Grosvenor Crescent, London, EnglandG.1
