     Sir Alexander Don of Newton Don, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir James Don of Newton Don, 2nd Bt. and Marion Scot of Goranbery.2 He married Margaret Carre, daughter of John Carre of Cavers, in 1717.1 He died on 13 April 1749.1
     Sir Alexander Don of Newton Don, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Don, of Newton Don [N.S., 1667].1

     Sir Alexander Don of Newton Don, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Don, of Newton Don [N.S., 1667] on 13 April 1749.1 He also had two daughters.1

     Grace Stein was the daughter of John Stein.1 She married, firstly, Sir Alexander Don of Newton Don, 6th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Don of Newton Don, 5th Bt. and Lady Henrietta Cuninghame, in August 1824.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. Sir James Maxwell Wallace in 1836.1 She died on 13 March 1878.1
     From August 1824, her married name became Don.1 From 1836, her married name became Wallace.1

     Emily Eliza Saunders was an actress.1 From 17 October 1857, her married name became Don.1
