Lucretia Montgomerie was the daughter of George Molineux Montgomerie.2 She married Sir Alexander Don of Newton Don, 6th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Don of Newton Don, 5th Bt. and Lady Henrietta Cuninghame, in 1809.1 She died in 1815, without issue.1
From 1809, her married name became Don.

Sir William Henry Don of Newton Don, 7th Bt. was born on 4 May 1825.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Don of Newton Don, 6th Bt. and Grace Stein.2,3 He married, firstly, Antonia Lebrun, daughter of M. Lebrun, in June 1847.1 He married, secondly, Emily Eliza Saunders, daughter of John Saunders, on 17 October 1857.1 He died on 19 March 1862 at age 36 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.1
He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Don, of Newton Don [N.S., 1667] on 11 March 1826.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Officer between 1842 and 1845 in the service of the 5th Dragoon Guards.1 He sold Newton Don for £85,000 and became an actor.1
