     Sir Timothy Shelley, 2nd Bt. was born on 7 September 1753. He was the son of Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Bt. and Mary Catherine Michell. He married Elizabeth Pilford, daughter of Charles Pilford, in October 1791. He died on 24 April 1844 at age 90.
     Sir Timothy Shelley, 2nd Bt. gained the title of 2nd Baronet Shelley in 1815.
     He also had three daughters, all unmarried.1

     John Shelley was born on 15 March 1806.1 He was the son of Sir Timothy Shelley, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Pilford.1 He married Elizabeth Bowen, daughter of Charles Bowen, on 24 March 1827.1 He died on 11 November 1866 at age 60.1
     John Shelley lived at Avington House, Hampshire, England.1

Arthur Stopford, son of James Walter Milles Stopford, 6th Earl of Courtown and Hon. Catherine Elizabeth Neville, on 25 November 1908.1 She and Vice-Admiral Hon.      Cicely Mary Birch was born in 1885. She was the daughter of John Arden Birch and Charlotte Mary Leycester Stopford.1 She married Major James Richard Neville Stopford, 7th Earl of Courtown, son of James Walter Milles Stopford, 6th Earl of Courtown and Hon. Catherine Elizabeth Neville, on 26 April 1905 at Trinity Church, Brompton, London, England.1 She died in 1973.1
     Her married name became Stopford. As a result of her marriage, Cicely Mary Birch was styled as Countess of Courtown on 18 July 1933. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire in 1936.2 She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1942.2 She was invested as a Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.).2
