     Arthur Richard French was born on 12 April 1752.1 He was the son of Christopher French and Margarita Alberti.2 He died War 1783, killed in action in American (admon 4 May 1797), unm.1
     Lieut 88th Connaught Rangers.1

     Lt.-Col. John French was formerly Captain 4th Drag Guards.1 QMG under Murray in Holl.1 He lived Cloonyquin.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel 121st Foot.1 On 22 June 1764 during war, b , mJune 1789, Ann, dauofVenJoseph Story, Archdeacon of Kilmore (see that family).1
