     Sir James Dunbar of Durn, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 9 January 1665.2 He was the son of Sir William Dunbar of Durn, 1st Bt. and Janet Brodie.3 He married Margaret Baird, daughter of Sir James Baird of Auchmedden.1 He died in November 1737 at age 72.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dunbar, of Durn [N.S., 1698].1

     Margaret Baird was the daughter of Sir James Baird of Auchmedden.2 She married Sir James Dunbar of Durn, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Dunbar of Durn, 1st Bt. and Janet Brodie.1 She died on 11 November 1737.1
     Her married name became Dunbar.1
