     Nicola Stewart was the daughter of Sir James Stewart of Kirkhill.2 She married Alexander Cuninghame, 10th Earl of Glencairn, son of William Cuninghame, 9th Earl of Glencairn and Lady Anne Ogilvy, circa 1660.3
     She was also known as Nicol Stewart.2 From circa 1660, her married name became Cuninghame.
