     Charlotte Martha Blackwell was born circa 1777.1 She was the daughter of Ebenezer Blackwell and Mary (?).2 She married General William Knollys, son of Thomas Woods Knollys and Mary Porter, on 23 June 1795 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 She died on 5 February 1818 at Paris, France.1
     From 23 June 1795, her married name became Knollys.1
