     James Dundas of Dundas was the son of James Dundas of Dundas.2 He married Elizabeth Livingston, daughter of Sir Alexander Livingston of Callender.1 He died before 1452, without issue.1
      He was imprisoned in Dumbarton Castle, and his lands confiscated.1 He was a supporter of King James II.1 He held the position of 12th Chief of the Name and Arms of Dundas in 1431.1

     Sir Ralph de Hastings was born circa 1385 at Sutton Holderness, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Sir Ralph Hastinges and Maud de St. John.1 He married Ann Fiennes, daughter of Sir John Fiennes.1 He died on 20 July 1405 at Durham, County Durham, England, beheaded, without issue.1

John Dundas of Dundas1

     John Dundas of Dundas was the son of Sir Archibald Dundas of Dundas and Agnes Borthwick.2 He died circa 1494.1
     He held the position of 14th Chief of the Name and Arms of Dundas.1 On 11 June 1488 he was confidential envoy for King James III, who intended making him Earl of Forth, but was killed at Sauchieburn , before being able to give effect to it.1

     Sir William Dundas of Dundas was the son of John Dundas of Dundas.2 He married Margaret Wauchope, daughter of Archibald Wauchope of Niddrie.1 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.1
     He held the position of 15th Chief of the Name and Arms of Dundas circa 1494.1 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.1
