Evelyn Sherbrooke Crane was the daughter of Charles Anrold Crane.2 She married, firstly, Sir Stanley Tubbs, 1st Bt. before 1944.1 She married, secondly, Sir Alan Algernon Marion Durand, 3rd Bt., son of Colonel Sir Edward Law Durand, 1st Bt. and Maude Ellen Heber-Percy, on 6 June 1944.1 She died on 23 June 1984.1
She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire in 1942.1 From before 1944, her married name became Tubbs.1 From 6 June 1944, her married name became Durand. She was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1955.1
