     Major George Naismith Bowden is the son of Lieutenant Colonel G T Bowden.2 He married Elizabeth Pamela Marion Durand, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Mortimer Henry Marion Durand and Evelyn Mary Carroll, on 31 August 1957.1
     And adopted.1 He was Loyal (N Lancs) Regiment.1 Eldest.1 He was Military Cross (M.C.).1 He lived Winsham.1 Somerset.1
