     Sir Knowles Edge was born on 31 December 1905.1 He was the son of William Edge.2 He married Dorothea Eunice Walker, daughter of Robert Walker, on 31 December 1932.1 He died on 19 March 1984 at age 78.1
     Sir Knowles Edge was educated Bolton Sch and Trin Hall Cambridge.1 He was chemical mfr, chairman Br Fedn Music Festivals.1 He was also known as 2nd Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1955.1
