     Neil Benjamin Edmonstone was born on 13 June 1809.¹ He was the son of Neil Benjamin Edmonstone and Charlotte Anne Friell.² He married Madalina Elinor Trant, daughter of William Henry Trant, on 7 February 1840.¹ He died in 1872.¹
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     William Henry Trant held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).¹

     Madalina Elinor Trant was the daughter of William Henry Trant.² She married Neil Benjamin Edmonstone, son of Neil Benjamin Edmonstone and Charlotte Anne Friell, on 7 February 1840.¹ She died in 1898.¹
      From 7 February 1840, her married name became Edmonstone.

     Lt.-Col. Neil Benjamin Edmonstone was born on 20 June 1843.¹ He was the son of Neil Benjamin Edmonstone and Madalina Elinor Trant.² He married Edith Isabella Lumsden, daughter of Colonel Henry Lumsden of Pitcaple, on 1 June 1886.¹ He died on 29 November 1915 at age 72.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 4th Hussars.¹

     Colonel Henry Lumsden of Pitcaple was born on 14 March 1825.² He was the son of Hugh Lumsden.² He died on 20 June 1918 at age 93.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.).¹ He lived at Pitcaple Castle, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹

     Edith Isabella Lumsden was the daughter of Colonel Henry Lumsden of Pitcaple.² She married Lt.-Col. Neil Benjamin Edmonstone, son of Neil Benjamin Edmonstone and Madalina Elinor Trant, on 1 June 1886.¹ She died on 25 March 1958.¹
      From 1 June 1886, her married name became Edmonstone.

     Edith Meriel Edmonstone was born in 1888.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Neil Benjamin Edmonstone and Edith Isabella Lumsden.³ She married, firstly, Commander Richard St. John on 3 June 1909.¹ She and Commander Richard St. John were divorced in 1913.¹ She married, secondly, Major Lewis Aloysius Macdonald Hastings, son of Stephen T. G. Hastings, on 25 March 1920.¹ She died on 4 April 1971.¹
      From 3 June 1909, her married name became St. John. From 25 March 1920, her married name became Hastings.¹

     Commander Richard St. John married Edith Meriel Edmonstone, daughter of Lt.-Col. Neil Benjamin Edmonstone and Edith Isabella Lumsden, on 3 June 1909.¹ He and Edith Meriel Edmonstone were divorced in 1913.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.¹

     Albertine Huck married Marshall Field, Jr., son of Marshall Field and Nannie Douglas Scott.¹
      Her married name became Field.¹

     Edith Anne Edmonstone Hastings was born circa 1923.² She was the daughter of Major Lewis Aloysius Macdonald Hastings and Edith Meriel Edmonstone.³ She married Roger Edmund Fulke Kerrison, son of Roger Fulke Kerrison, on 21 September 1942.¹ She died on 29 November 2010.²
      From 21 September 1942, her married name became Kerrison. She lived in 2003 at Sloley Lodge, Sloley, Norfolk, England.¹
