     Hon. James Murray was born on 4 May 1810.1 He was the son of Alexander Murray, 7th Lord Elibank and Mary Clara Montolieu.2 He married Isabella Erskine, daughter of James Erskine of Aberdona, on 3 May 1832.1 He died on 17 February 1844 at age 33 at Borneo, killed.1
     Hon. James Murray was a practising advocate.1

     Alexander Erskine Erskine-Murray was born on 9 December 1832.1 He was the son of Hon. James Murray and Isabella Erskine.2 He married Helen Pringle, daughter of Robert Pringle of Symington, on 26 April 1866.1 He died on 17 December 1907 at age 75.1
     His name was legally changed to Alexander Erskine Erskine-Murray.3 He was baptised with the name of Alexander Erskine Murray.3 He lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1

     James Robert Erskine-Murray was born on 24 October 1868.1 He was the son of Alexander Erskine Erskine-Murray and Helen Pringle.2 He married Alleine Frederica Florinda Gildea, daughter of Maj.-Gen. G. F. Gildea, in 1898.1 He died on 12 February 1927 at age 58.1
     James Robert Erskine-Murray graduated with a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society of Edinburgh (F.R.S.E.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Air Force.1
