     Charles Farquharson was the son of Donald 'Oig' Farquharson, 3rd of Monaltrie and Margaret Gordon.2 He died, without issue.1
     4th of Monaltrie.1 On 28 October 1702 sold Monaltrie to Alexander Farquharson, 3rd s of Alexander Farquharson 7th of Ivercauld (see below).1

     James Farquharson is the son of Donald Farquharson and Beatrix Gordon.2 He married unknown daughter Hay, daughter of unknown Hay.1 He married Ann Gardyne, daughter of Colonel unknown Gardyne.1 He died in 1666,, having by her had:.1
     Aberdeenshire.1 Cromar.1 He lived Whitehouse.1 In 1750 held a wadset (conveyance of lands as pledge for debt) from Earls of Aboyne (see HUNTLY, M), which returned to them.1
