     He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Cornet in the service of the Royal Scots Greys.1

     Catherine Margaret Feilden was born circa 1800. She was the daughter of Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt. and Mary Haughton Jackson.1,2 She married James Hozier, son of William Hozier and Jean Campbell, on 11 May 1824.1 She died on 27 April 1870.1
      From 11 May 1824, her married name became Hozier.1

     Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt. was born on 13 March 1772.2 He was the son of Joseph Feilden and Margaret Leyland.2 He married Mary Haughton Jackson, daughter of Edmund Jackson, on 30 March 1797.2 He died in 1850.
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Blackburn between 1832 and 1847.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1833.2 He succeeded to the title of 1st Baronet Feilden, of Feniscowles, Lancashire [U.K.] on 21 July 1846.2 He lived at Feniscowles, Lancashire, England.2

Hon. Sydney Herbert.1
