     Mary Grace Abercromby was baptised on 1 January 1821 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 She was the daughter of Sir Robert Abercromby of Birkenbog, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Stephenson Douglas.1 She married William Cosmo Gordon, son of Charles Gordon and Elizabeth (?), on 9 June 1848.2 She died in 1887.3
     From 9 June 1848, her married name became Gordon.2

Hamilton Hamilton, on 19 September 1854 at Banffshire, Scotland.2 She and Alexander Henry Abercromby Hamilton were divorced in 1862.2 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John Wilson Rimington, son of James Rimington and Sarah Ward, in July 1864 at St. George's Hanover Square, London, England.2
     From 19 September 1854, her married name became Hamilton.2 From July 1864, her married name became Rimington.2

     Maj.-Gen. Archibald Graham Wavell was born on 18 November 1843.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Arthur Goodall Wavell and Anne Paxton.1 He married Lillie Percival, daughter of R. N. Percival, on 7 November 1880.2 He died on 2 March 1935 at age 91.1
     He was commissioned in 1863.3 He fought in the Zulu War in 1879.2 He fought in the Basuto Campaign between 1880 and 1881.2 He fought in the Tambookie Campaign between 1880 and 1881.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Norfolk Regiment.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1890 in the Royal Highland Regiment.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1895.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was Chief of Staff of the 3rd Army Corps between 1901 and 1902.2 He retired from the military in 1902, with the rank of Major-General.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)2 He lived at Little Somborne, Ringwood, Hampshire, EnglandG.3
