Aveline de Burgh is the daughter of Richard de Burgh, 2nd Earl of Ulster and Margaret de Burgh.¹ She married Sir John de Bermingham, 1st and last Earl of Louth, son of Piers FitzJames MacPhioris de Bermingham and Ela de Odingsells, between June 1308 and October 1320.¹
From between June 1308 and October 1320, her married name became de Bermingham.¹ As a result of her marriage, Aveline de Burgh was styled as Countess of Louth.
