     Emily Fearne Anne Forbes was the daughter of Captain James Arthur Forbes and Fearne Jemima Kinnear.2 She married Captain John Elphinston Ryrie Oldfield, son of Phineas Alexander Ryrie Oldfield and Julia Mary Elphinstone, on 4 October 1900.1 She died on 14 April 1941.1
      From 4 October 1900, her married name became Oldfield.

     Captain John Elphinston Ryrie Oldfield was born on 24 January 1873 at Bombay, India.2 He was the son of Phineas Alexander Ryrie Oldfield and Julia Mary Elphinstone.2 He married Emily Fearne Anne Forbes, daughter of Captain James Arthur Forbes and Fearne Jemima Kinnear, on 4 October 1900.1 He died on 16 May 1946 at age 73 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He lived at Cantray House, Gollanfield, Inverness-shire, Scotland.1
