     Sir William Forbes of Pitsligo, 7th Bt. was born on 21 December 1773 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was the son of Sir William Forbes of Monymusk, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Hay.3,4 He married Williamina Stuart, daughter of Sir John Wishart Stuart of Fettercairn, 4th Bt. and Lady Jane Leslie, on 19 January 1797.3 He died on 24 October 1828 at age 54.2
     He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Forbes, of Monymusk, Aberdeenshire [N.S., 1626] on 12 November 1806.2 He lived at Cannan Park, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2

     He lived at West Coates, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1
